Fellowship
Fellowship is a big part of what makes Oak Road Lutheran Church so special. In addition to Family Night on Wednesdays, we have several fun events throughout the year!
Family Night
Join us Wednesday nights for food, fellowship, and fun for all ages.
Family Night is a ministry designed to help families pause in their week and turn toward one another through God's Word, food and fellowship. Each Wednesday evening during the school year a meal is prepared by volunteers and is offered in the Fellowship Hall. A free will offering is collected to offset the cost of the meal. The evening includes dinner together starting at 5:30 PM followed by choir practices, Bible study, or the ORLC Kids’ Art Club at 6:30 PM.
Young at Heart
Young at Heart is a group of seniors (50+) that have monthly get-togethers.
2nd Saturday @ 6:30 - Game night in the Fellowship Hall. Playing cards, dominoes, and Rummikub are provided. Feel free to bring other games (with rules). Also, bring your drink and a snack to share. No sign-up is needed.
3rd Friday @ 11:30 - Luncheon. At an area restaurant. Details are in the monthly newsletter and in the weekly bulletin. Reservations are preferred to give the restaurant a headcount. You may also call or text Judy at 770-312-0753.
We also occasionally schedule day trips.
