WHO WE ARE

We are followers of Jesus of Nazareth.  We confess that we are sinners saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

It is through Jesus’ perfect life, his death for our sins, and His resurrection from the grave that we know who God is and that God loves us dearly.

Oak Road Lutheran Church was founded in 1985. The group of charter members met in a variety of worship locations - among them a school cafeteria and a roller skating rink - before moving into the current building on Oak Road.

Together, our congregation’s mission is to share God’s love and grace to all people.  This is the goal of all our worship services, Bible studies, ministries, and fellowship gatherings.

As followers of Jesus, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, we strive to be conformed to the image and likeness of God who loves us.  We fall short of this calling, but by the grace of God we know that at Christ’s return we will be transformed and made new for all eternity.

Oak Road Lutheran is a congregation in membership with the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.  If you would like to know more about what we believe and confess, Pastor Andy is always glad to discuss such matters.  Also, the following is a resource that provides an overview of what we recognize to be the revealed teachings of God through the Bible: Brief Statement of the Doctrinal Position of the Missouri Synod

If you do not have a church home, we invite you to join us on our life-long journey of transformation and hope in Jesus.
